  • Inspected brakes. Front disc brake pads have 50% remaining and rear disc brake pads have 75% remaining. No problem with brake system found at this time.
  • Inspected vehicle and confirmed customer concern. High beams are work a this time. No problem found with high beams. Inspected fuse and verified headlight fuses are good. Verified power and ground were present at headlight bulb. Moved connector and low beams will flicker on. Inspected headlight bulb connectors and found connector is melted and burned. Replaced both low beam headlight connectors and replaced both low beam headlight bulbs. All lights working as designed. Vehicle is due for engine oil and filter change.
  • Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection.

Found cruise control will be active with steering wheel is turned to the right. Tested voltage with steering wheel straight no voltage present. Voltage present when turned to the 2 o clock position. Recommend replacing clock spring.
  • Inspected vehicle and verified customer concern. Checked for loose components in engine area, Nothing loose found. checked for exhaust leak or missing bolts. No exhaust leak or missing bolts found. Rattle appears to be coming from engine valve train. I last a few seconds then goes away. Recommend to start with oil change with Rev X oil treatment. Found serpentine belt dry rotting and cracking. Recommend replacing serpentine belt. Front struts and rear shocks are starting to leak and tire are chopping. Recommend replacing front strut and rear shocks soon. Front disc brake pads are at 2 mm remaining and rotors are below minimum thickness. Rear disc brake pads are at 1mm remaining and rotors are below minimum thickness. Recommend replacing front and rear disc brake pads and rotors.
  • Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection.
  • Radio has an internal short and has no volume control. Recommend replacing stereo head unit.
  • Replaced air bag clock spring. Verified cruise control active in all steering wheel positions. Test drove vehicle an verified cruise control operation.

  • Found serpentine belt tensioner pulley and lower idler pulley bearings making noise. Serpentine belt is dry cracking and should be replaced with pulleys.
  • Inspected vehicle and found battery hold down and terminal ends corroded. Recommend replacing battery hold down and cleaning battery terminals.
  • Inspected vehicles air conditioning system. Refrigerant is at proper level and compressor is operating as designed. Found that air from drivers vent is 25 degrees warmer than air from the passenger vents. Verified that blend door actuator on the passenger side moves when temperature is changed. Both sides will go to full hot. Unable to verified driver side blend door actuator with out removing dash and inspecting heater box. Will need to remove dash to determine the exact problem with drivers side. Found cabin air filter dirty and needs to be replaced.
  • Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection.
  • Replaced battery hold down and cleaned battery terminals and cable ends
  • Replaced cabin air filter and cleaned ilter compartment.
  • Replaced idler pulley -lower
  • Replaced serpentine belt and tensioner pulley. Test drove vehicle and verified repair.

Verified system would hold vacuum. refilled air conditioning system with proper level of refrigerant. Cleaned bugs and debris from air conditioning condensor. Test drove vehicle and verified air conditioning system operation.
  • Inspected vehicle and verified customer concern. Scanned HVAC system and found fault cod P1274 – A/C control circuit 2 open. Checked air conditioning refrigerant level. Refrigerant above max level. Preformed pinpoint test for power and ground. Both power and ground are present. Toggled air conditioning compressor on and off with scan tool. Air conditioning command system operating as designed. Air conditioning compressor clutch not engaging. Air conditioning compressor has internal damage. Pulley is still spinning free at this time. Pulley could lock up and cause further damage. Recommend replacing air conditioning compressor wit kit including accumulator and lines to satisfy warranty requirements.

  • Replaced turbocharger assembly. Changed engine oil and filter. Refilled engine cooling system to proper level. Cleared fault code. Test drove vehicle. Turbocharger operating as designed and no fault codes returned. Customer must change oil within 200 mile after new turbo charger is installed.
  • Test drove and inspected vehicle. Scanned vehicle systems for fault codes. Found fault code P0299 – turbocharger under boost condition. Smoke tested intake and turbo system. No leaks were found with smoke test. Tested boost sensor. All sensors tested within manufactures specifications. Inspected turbocharger waste gate system. Found wastegate linkage worn and not closing completely and causing boos to bleed off. Recommend replacing turbo charger assembly.
